1985 - Foundation of Construction Equipments Development Center as a part of the Heavy Machines Division.
1987 - Foundation of Construction Equipment Division as a separate division - Inauguration 1st factory.
1988 - Completion of own excavators development (21 ton, 29 ton).
1989 - Establishment of Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.; - 1st factory extension.
1991 - Inauguration of American overseas subsidiary in Chicago, USA.
1992 - Inauguration of 2nd assembly factory.
1993 - Inauguration of European overseas subsidiary in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
1994 - Merged with the Construction Equipment Division of Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
1995 - Moved European overseas subsidiary to Geel, Belgium; - Inauguration of Changzhou Joint Venture Company in China.
1999 - Separated from Hyundai Motor Company.
2005 - Passed 100,000 units of construction equipment production in the shortest time in Korea; - Sold first 50 ton excavator.
